Soroush Naji, a distinguished pianist and dedicated piano instructor, excels in delivering expert piano lessons across Edina, Bloomington, and Richfield. His musical journey commenced at the tender age of five, leading to a deep-seated passion for teaching that took root during his early years as a teaching assistant. In 2016, Soroush achieved a milestone by earning his piano teaching certification from the Aria Institute in Mashhad, Iran.
Specializing in classical and contemporary styles, Soroush provides tailored piano lessons to students of all ages and levels, from absolute beginners to advanced musicians. His teaching goes beyond improving musical skills; it fosters cognitive development and personal growth, positioning him as a leading piano instructor in the Edina region.
Committed to fostering a nurturing and vibrant learning atmosphere, Soroush ensures that each lesson is enriching and enjoyable, particularly for younger students. Piano Instructor
Noah Tankersley is a Minneapolis-based pianist and dedicated educator with a background in classical, jazz, Latin-American, R&B, rock, and pop music. His broad musical experience and passion for teaching make him a versatile and engaging instructor for students of all ages and skill levels.
Originally from rural Minnesota, Noah began learning piano at a young age and developed his skills independently throughout middle and high school. In 2015, he moved to Minneapolis to pursue formal training and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance, with an emphasis in piano, in 2020.
Since 2016, Noah has been actively performing and teaching. His experience includes playing at weddings, private events, and local venues, where he brings a rich blend of musical styles to life. As an educator, he is committed to helping students explore their creativity, develop solid technique, and connect with music in a meaningful and personal way.
Noah currently offers piano lessons in Minneapolis and surrounding areas, including Edina, Bloomington, and Richfield.

Hui (Ariel) Chen is a talented pianist and a second-year DMA student in Piano Performance at the University of Minnesota. She stands out for both her academic excellence and musical accomplishments.
Ariel completed her Master’s degree in just one year—a rare and impressive achievement. During her first year as a doctoral student, she won first prize in both the Schubert Club Student Scholarship Competition and the Mechelke Student Scholarship Competition. She currently studies under Professor Alexander Braginsky.
Like many adult students pursuing a professional music career, Ariel has successfully met rigorous academic and performance standards. Her determination and discipline reflect the same values she brings to her teaching.

Shih-Han (Cathy) Chang, who began studying piano at the age of five in Taiwan,
completed her Master of Music degree at the University of Minnesota. During her
undergraduate years at Soochow University in Taiwan, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in
Music. Her early start in piano laid a solid foundation for her versatile musical career.
Additionally, Cathy actively participates in various musical activities, including
prestigious music festivals such as the Mozarteum International Summer Academy in
Austria and the Maine Chamber Music Seminar.
As a piano teacher, Cathy employs a variety of teaching methods tailored to the unique
needs and skills of her students, ranging from beginners to advanced musicians. She
focuses on building a strong technical foundation while fostering a love for musical
expression. Cathy’s commitment to excellence in piano education drives her to
continuously seek innovative ways to engage and inspire her students.

Hyein Choi is a versatile pianist recognized for her work as a soloist, collaborative pianist, and chamber musician. Her expressive performances and broad musical background distinguish her as a dedicated and accomplished artist.
Hyein began studying piano at age four and soon earned recognition through numerous piano competition wins in Korea. She graduated from Sunhwa Arts High School and received her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance. She later moved to the U.S. to earn her Master’s degree from Indiana University and a Doctorate in Piano Performance from the University of Minnesota.
With over a decade of teaching experience, Hyein is passionate about helping students of all ages and skill levels grow musically. She adapts her teaching style to meet each student’s needs, creating a thoughtful, encouraging learning environment that builds confidence and musical ability.
